Mission Statement

LEADS Liberia’s work is impactful, addressing four crucial thematic areas of environmental concern: environmental awareness and development, research and development, ecological sustainability, and environmental services. Our partnerships with local and international environmental initiatives not only contribute to economic growth but also build sustainability capacity, making a real difference in the world.

Profile​

Rocheforte Manasuah Korlison, Executive Director/Founder of LEADS Liberia, pursues a PhD in Sustainability Education at Prescott College, focusing on Sub-Saharan Africa’s agro-based economy dilemmas and sustainable growth pathways. Holding an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, he’s engaged in environment and renewable energy sectors, authored “Beyond the Odds,” and published articles on environment. With a background spanning public and private sectors, he lectures on sustainable development, biodiversity, and eco-health.

H. Abraham Siaffa, a Program Administrator, holds a BA in Sociology and Demographics from the University of Liberia. With over six years of administrative supervision, he excels in project management, GIS/GPS, and partnership development. His expertise includes forest mapping, community mapping, and food security initiatives. With a decade of experience in emergency relief and development roles for various agencies, he utilizes GIS/GPS technologies extensively, contributing significantly to research and reporting efforts.

MIATTA KIAWU –The National Environment Thematic Coordinator, with an MSc in Environmental Science from Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and a BSc in Zoology and Chemistry from the University of Liberia, boasts 12 years of public sector experience as an environmental inspector. She excels in research, surveys, and assessments in rural Liberian forest communities. Additionally, she received international training in urban pollution control in China and contributed to the 2024 Joint Transition Team, focusing on the Central Medicine Store/National Drug Service cluster, driven by a profound dedication to environmental and ecosystem preservation.

Moses Zayee Jr. is an integral part of LEADS Liberia as a Field Sustainable Animator & Communicator. With a BA in Sociology and Mass Communication, he’s committed to sustainable education. His varied experience, including as an Education & School Health Nutrition Mobilizer, is crucial for the organization’s educational initiatives. His additional training in peace, legal education, gender analysis, and environmental studies further strengthens his role in program development and capacity building.

Randolph Kaifa Kanneh, Program/Project Account Coordinator, holds a Bachelor’s in Management and Accounting from the University of Liberia. His experience as a clientele ambassador for Lonestar Cell and later as a sales agent and general manager at Al Hawaye Transport Service honed his sales and accountability skills. Passionate about environmental accountability, he aims to enhance financial relationships with sustainable networks to manage donor funding effectively.

Agnes Bonason, IT Coordinator/Assistant Administrator, is a graduating senior in Management Information Systems from Starz University of Science and Technology, Liberia. She also holds a Computer Software certificate from Faith International School of Technology. With over three years of experience, she excels in database management and possesses strong soft skills. Passionate about Management Information Systems, she aims to enhance LEADS Liberia’s IT infrastructure to elevate its projects and programs globally.
